Meet Hippie Bob-the sweet mind behind Riverside Chocolate Factory! In 1986, after years of working the corporate grind at McDonald’s, Bob decided to trade spreadsheets and meetings for cocoa and creativity. Inspired by a dream to make something his own, he took a leap of faith and opened Riverside Chocolate Factory. What started as one man’s big idea has grown into a place filled with handcrafted chocolate, passion, and a little bit of Bob’s free-spirited charm in every batch.

Diana
Meet Diana-the heart and creativity behind many of Riverside Chocolate Factory’s most loved recipes! As Hippie Bob’s wife and longtime partner in this chocolate adventure, Diana helped turn his dream into something truly delicious by creating countless candies and treats that customers still enjoy today. Though she is now happily retired, Diana still stops in from time to time, bringing her experience, care and a little extra magic to every piece of candy she makes! Her recipes remain an essential part of the RCF story.
Meet Abby-one of the managers at RCF and Rob’s partner in crime! Abby first started working here when she was 16, and after time away at college, she realized that she still belonged at Riverside. Known for her creativity and her talent for bringing everyone’s ideas to life, Abby helps keep the chocolate factory running smoothly. Whether she’s making candy, working in the trailer, ordering on her computer, or jumping in wherever she’s needed, she truly does it all-always with a smile and a love for the place she calls home.
Rob
Meet Rob-Hippie Bob and Diana’s son and one of the current managers of Riverside Chocolate Factory. Though he’s explored a few different career paths over the years, Rob always finds his way back to the family business. Known for his goofy personality and the energy he brings to the shop, he keeps both the team and customers smiling. Rob proudly continues the family tradition by still making Diana’s famous toffee recipe, keeping a sweet piece of the chocolate factory’s history alive with every batch.
Abby
Meet Faith-one of the kitchen managers who excels in everything she does! From crafting delicious treats to keeping the kitchen running smoothly, Faith’s talent and dedication shine through in every batch. Faith is the master of caramel apples and also burning herself with caramel from time to time. She’s also the one who keeps everyone laughing, bringing positivity, big energy, and a great sense of humor to the team every day. With Faith around, the kitchen is always full of both great chocolate and great vibes.
Sarah
Meet Sarah-one of the managers of our kitchen & a true chocolate expert who has been part of the Riverside Chocolate Factory family on and off for the past 20 years! Known for her incredible talent as a chocolatier and the maker of the finest fudge, she brings skill, precision, and passion to everything she creates in the kitchen. When she’s not crafting delicious treats, she’s busy being a super mom to her two wonderful sons. Her dedication both in the kitchen and at home makes her a valuable part of our team.
